Folkstar is competing for a spot on the Warped Tour! Currently we’re in the overall top 100 and our song “Temptation” is ranked at #67 for Virginia Beach!!

Folkstar Wraps Up Filming Music Video

Folkstar finished filming their very first music video for the single “Cards and Letters.” The video was filmed and produced by the Wilmington production company A Stolen Product. They filmed a (real) live Folkstar show at a local venue in town, plus they captured songwriting scenes as well as several scenes filmed in downtown Wilmington. Hope that doesn’t give away too much! The scheduled release date is May 9th, 2012. Be sure to check it out!!

Folkstar Headlines Wilmington Showcase

Folkstar will be the featured performers at the Wilmington Area Songwriter Showcase on May 10th, 2012. We’ll be playing a full set at the stunning upstairs ballroom of The Reel Cafe. Be there!!
